OZ-UK Steel School Buildings / Storage – Intellectually the right choice! OZ-UK Steel Buildings for Schools, Our design is so customizable that schools are able to find many uses from sports storage to Janitorial workshops and rest rooms, covered outdoor areas for lunching and summer classes, and bike sheds and yes even smoking shelters (Filthy Habit) the fact that our structures are quite easily erected by PTA groups is a bonus when looking for that project that will produce much without costing the earth. OZ-UK are always available for the larger projects or for those that are on tight schedules. Our projects have included a Sports Storage Building project at one of England’s largest leader schools. The work at Billericay School was a rather frantic affair with the whole project having to be done from order to finished, Erected building in just two weeks, we were able to fast track this job with a concerted effort from all involved see our Gallery page BILLERICAY SCHOOL . Also a Private Christian School THE RIVER SCHOOL in Worchester who had problems with planning but it all worked out right in the end. St Anne’s School in Godmanchester had a falling down wooden structure that was not only an eyesore but also a health & safety issue due to its condition. It was used to store school sports equipment that was beginning to get damaged by the damp conditions that their little leaking wooden shed festered. For surprisingly little investment the school now have a fantastic sports equipment store that will not only last much longer than wooden structures but looks great as well. OZ-UK Temporary Re-locatable Steel Buildings? At OZ-UK Steel Buildings we understand that things change, people move on and very often things get left behind. With this in mind we just wanted you to know that our Steel Buildings are in most cases bolted down to the concrete base with Rawlbolts, because it’s all bolted and Tekscrewed in it’s design, it’s easily moveable. This means that if or when you move you will have the option of taking your building with you. We have moved buildings from one property to another with very little material cost, a few Rawlbolts and Tekscrews, obviously you may have to replace any damaged sheets or guttering but it is moveable. Call us for a free quote to move your structure! Careful marking and measuring is required when rebuilding but as all the holes are already in the right places as long as everything has been marked well it’s a piece of proverbial cake! We have a testimony on this site of Gordon Simms (Pilot and Livery owner) who bought a building from OZ-UK and then got himself married & moved home but wanted to take his OZ-UK Steel building with him and so Steel men to the rescue! OZ-UK took his Steel Building down, re-located and erected it, No Worries! OZ-UK Re-locatable Steel Buildings! Re-locatable By Design! It seems that Temporary is rather a grey area when it comes to our structures and planning officials. We had a case locally where a local business was refused permission to erect a spray booth. Jim then came across our Steel Buildings and after discussion decided to put one of our buildings up as a temporary structure, which he did. The authorities found out that he had put a structure up and went around to the site with the intention of making him take it down but because it was a bolt down structure they were not able to enforce their intention because it was a bolt down structure & today the building is still there. We don’t tell people that our buildings are temporary because we would not like to upset the authorities but this case shows that there is room for interpretation and in this case our customer was able to keep his “Temporary” building that is still there today.
